Magpie is fine save for characters can have only one Approach at 3, regardless the reason. Other than that, great PC.

I have added a page there giving some background, and will add more soon. As you add your characters, we can discuss what works, what doesn't, and how y'all got together.

In this world, looking not quite human is called a Freek, and they are persecuted worse and without work. Would make it too hard to travel as well. He'd need to look human at least most of the time. Otherwise fine. He and Mason can argue over whether he is a griffon vulture or a griffin (Mason is very uptight and ornithological) lol. Will make for good roleplaying side story.
