Shattered Silk

Information

Definition: Shattered Silk is term used to describe when silk fibers deteriorate from being weakened by either the chemical effects of salt dying or from being weighted, hung, or stressed. Once silk begins to shatter it cannot be reversed.

This group is dedicated to the trials and tribulations that come with the construction and wearing of our Steampunk Garb.

From professional seamstresses to beginners share what you know and love. Don't be afraid to ask when you need help.

And stay true to the generous, individual, and creative nature of Steampunk.
