Well I haven't been here since I started, and I must appologize for that.
All aboard. I'll start the show with favorite steam locomotives. You can have more than one.
My favorite engines are ET&WNC #12, a narrow gauge ten wheeler located at Tweetsie Railroad in Boone NC. It's sadly belittled with flashy paint, and modifications that do not suit her.
Eureka & Palisade #4 Eureka, also narrow gauge, is the only 8-18c 4-4-0 still in operation, and is a jewel of the 19th century. She was built in 1875 by the Baldwin Locomotive Works.
In short. I love all steam locomotives that are coal, and wood fired. I'm not the biggest fan of gas or oil firing.
So ya'll; what's yours?
