You are welcome to start a Discussion for the USS Akron (& Macon since it is hard to separate them) here to cache information. They were impressive airships. Too bad they did not have access to simple onboard weather radar.
Well, after being a member of a similar group (ahem) elsewhere, I guess I can join this one. Too bad we missed the anniversary of the Akron's demise (April 4), as that is what got me involved in the first place.
