Herbalist & Explorer-
'It is my belief there is a curative for all human ills, a panacea to be found in nature, for we are all of the same- earth, sea and sky.'

Though not so distinguished and learned as physicians and surgeons such as the Doctors Lister, Gull, Treves and Barnardo (though the last's true doctorship was never quite attained), I am nonetheless a dedicated healer. Of sorts.
I have traveled in search of remedies, anodynes, palliatives and medicaments from nature, with men of distinction- Mr. Darwin (many an evening we discussed the studies and writings of his Uncle Erasmus) and Captain Richard Burton, with whom, as traveling companion, was always an exhilarating and sometimes unchancy, parlous adventure.
