About you:: this is the page of 113th R.A.G.T.A.G., a Dutch Steam / Diesel punk group that is themed around WW1.

Our background story:

113th R.A.G. - T.A.G. ( Regiment Anachronistic Grenadiers - Tactical Assault Group ) was founded in the barbaric 20th century during the Great War of '14 / '18. Originally it was a secret elite unit of the Swiss Inland Army ; hardened soldiers who were selected to participate in experiments to develop a weapon that could break the stalemate of the horrible trench warfare. These experiments were only known by the name ; ‘Project Barabas '. Scientists had discovered that they could, with the aid of a Vortex, teleport rats over short distances.
Equipped with the most modern weapons , the grenadiers were freely behind enemy lines to be transported , after which they would cause to disappear like ghosts in the night . Then again chaos and panic among the enemy.

However, the project was still in an early experimental stage and what the scientists did not anticipate was that the vortex induced by ' Barabas ' created cracks in the fabric of time and space ... which eventually led to some ‘minor miscalculations’.

On October 10, 1917 the first grenadiers entered Barabas’ Vortex to execute an unknown mission, but no one dared to say whether they would actually reach their destination. In the words of Ernst Knöckelheim , Project Manager Project Barabas : "They are more lost in time and space than a mealworm in a Swiss cheese ."

Since then, the R.A.G.-T.A.G. grenadiers are lost in time and space and offer themselves as mercenaries where ever they can.
