The Dolls of New Albion is a new work of musical theatre written and composed by Paul Shapera. The work was commissioned by Mark Swetz and Compañía Y for production in London and this video is a record of a workshop performance at the Ovalhouse.

This work was commissioned as part of Swetz's PhD research on Blind Spectatorship. Due to budget and time constraints, it was not formally submitted as part of his thesis, but it is in many ways a final expression of the research undertaken in previous years (as can be seen on the Vimeo Channel 'Blind Spectatorship').
