                         ********IMPORTANT********

There is an underlying story and/or parts there of, that is followed from the Airship Alicia Grey and The Airship Battle Royale. It is not the main focus of the Gear, but It does happen from time to time. The events are scripted at first, but remember your input changes the script.

This role-play bar, is a light hearted dose of fun. It has its serious moments but the Spirit of the Gear is about comradery, having some drinks, and experiencing everything and anything. The more veteran gear posters will help out the newer Gear Goers with any questions, or ideas.

The gear is designed to help develop your characters if you would like. Feel free to message T.R. Harrison, Arabella Porter, or myself, if you have any questions.

"Very much so," Steel said as he sighed, "what did you find particularly interesting about recent events?

*looked* a great many things.  Too many to possibly describe in a single sentence.  I lived, fought, and fell in love

"Love?" Steel let out a small chuckle, "humans and their emotional attachments... though I may be a hypocrite. After all I have a good friend like you."

*smiles and laughs a little* don't worry.  Everyone's a hypocrite at some point.

"I'd prefer if I were the exception to that rule," Steel replied as he shrugged.

*Eyes Kepi, finding something off about him.  He kept his hand on one of his pistols, just in case*

*Spots Val, and nods knowingly before giving a mock salute and turning back to Bri*

Brielle spots and notes their exchange. Directing her question to Kepi, "You never did tell me of your notion that struck you."

Kepi returns his full attention to her.

"Oh yes, the notion. Mm hm, yes...now that I think about it, it's all very related to that story I had. Only way I could possibly explain it."

He rises, and steps around behind her with strides like dance steps. He goes still again behind her, like a gnarled statue someone rudely placed directly behind Brielle.

"This father, he had a daughter. Lovely thing, I seem to remember her as a much smaller girl from past business I'd had with the gentleman..." He straightened his posture, coming around to her side in entirely too many steps, as though he meant to bewilder anyone bothering to watch.

"And he loved this daughter, in spite of his pitiful ways of showing it. Both parents, oh so caught up in a fantasy. Have you ever been caught up in a wild dream of what you want to do, Miss Brielle? But what you can't?" He continued, evidently speaking rhetorically.

"Fantasies...of being rich. Powerful. Ah, the classic! I know it well. His voice dropped startlingly low, a dangerous, personal edge to it. "Very, very well, from a lifetime of experience..."

He continued, his voice returning to normal. "And they meant to use this daughter as a means to marry into a family of a much higher station, can you believe that?!" he yelped jovially. "But the real kicker is, this girl, very smart little thing. She ran off! Off with some scoundrels somewhere, my kind of folks..."

He did a pirouette back into his seat in front of her, hands out in front of his face as though in a prayer. "And so the poor old man, besotted by grief, he found me. Because he knows I'm a very talented problem solver. The best, I assure you." He leaned in. "And he offered me a reward big enough to let me retire early, I dare say. Really an attractive offer...couldn't help but sign on the pretty little dotted line..."

He leaned back to a normal seated position, and flashed his toothy grin again. "Isn't it just the craziest story? That notion I had..." He lowers his mirrors just long enough to utter his next phrase, "...is that you might be one who could really understand that daughter, from the story. What do you think?"

She listens with a sense of growing terror and dread. "I assure you, sir, that I know of no such dealings." She is very spooked. "WIth that, I must bid you adieu. I have quite the early and busy morning tomorrow..." She stands up suddenly and leaves down the hall, peeking from behind the door before she closes it. "I hope Felix comes home before this escalates..."

Kepi grins after her as she walks away.

"Have a lovely night, Miss Brielle! Been a pleasure keeping your company!" he shouts after her almost convincingly kind. He settles back into his chair, regarding the room at random again, fingers drumming along the counter-top.

*Val points his pistol at Kepi almost casually, before twirling it and returning it to a holster* my friend, let me give you some advice: if you're here to cause trouble, I suggest you find elsewhere *his voice just slightly threatening*
