There is an underlying story and/or parts there of, that is followed from the Airship Alicia Grey and The Airship Battle Royale. It is not the main focus of the Gear, but It does happen from time to time. The events are scripted at first, but remember your input changes the script. 

This role-play bar, is a light hearted dose of fun. It has its serious moments but the Spirit of the Gear is about comradery, having some drinks, and experiencing everything and anything. The more veteran gear posters will help out the newer Gear Goers with any questions, or ideas.

Wil nods and smiles. "I'm sure if he hired you you don't need to fear him. He's completely insane but the man keeps getting work so clearly he controls himself somehow. I think he actually get's calmer the worse the situation is. If you feel he'll be someone you can work with I've no doubt you can handle it Arabella." 

He grins as he puffs his pipe back to life and blows a couple of smoke rings before winking. "Besides, knowing Grim he's probably trying to find a way to make extra money and reputation by having you as first mate!"

[Arabella Porter]

 Thanks Jacob! have a good night! *she smiles and waves before rolling te empty bottle around in front of her* reputation. Yeah, *scoffs* He's knowingly getting a black spot on his ship but hey, he also thinks we might *wink* accidentally bump into the Bloody Lotus on the way back. I guess he and Meiling have a little bad history and since I'm on her bad list and she's on mine...well....

Wil chuckles and tucks down close so only Ara can hear him. "He doesn't care about the black spot. He blew up the house and family of the last captain who tried to give him one."

Sitting up he puffed at his pipe a bit before reaching into his vest and pulls out a small cigar case like item. Setting it on the table he smiles. "If you trust Grim to do what he said, and I can't imagine why he wouldn't if he has an issue with this Meiling person, than you won't need these. If it does come to pass that you need to get away from him use these. There are 3 vials. Drink all of them. It'll take about thirty seconds for full effect and it will be painful but worth it. You'll be stronger, faster, and heal pretty much any damage you take. The blue one will be the most help though. You'll have about 20 minutes where gravity is only a mild irritant. You can't fly but it will allow you to hover/slowly fall. Great escape from a ship."

*looks down at the bottles and back to him with a strange look, as though he told her there was a million pounds inside but that was more likely*

Wil shakes his head and pushes it closer. "I always have things like this on me in case I need them. Makes sense to give you an escape route if you need it. Consider them a part of the payment for helping with this job."

[Arabella Porter]

*pulls the case closer to her, hesitantly* Forget Grim, I think you're the more bizarre of the two.

[Wilhelm A. Heizeltroff]

Wil laughs and puffs at his pipe and gives a shrug. "I'm not sure why you'd say that."

[Arabella Porter]

nevermind it, Wil. *smiles* thanks for the plan B. *stands and grabs another bottle of Bourbon* so...that lab of yours. I saw it and I was absolutely amazed. your campus, not house, not mansion, campus, is enormous.

[Wilhelm A. Heizeltroff]

I am rather proud of my facility." He grins a bit and nearly preens as he sits up some. "It used to a military armory and barracks. It took me nearly 3 years to have it full refitted."

[Arabella Porter]

Well, if you ever feel like giving me a grand tour, I'm rather curious now. That tower is...tall. *she laughs drunkenly* You ever have parties there?

She waves to Wil as he leaves and walks behind the bar with a glass of water to sober herself out.
