                         ********IMPORTANT********

There is an underlying story and/or parts there of, that is followed from the Airship Alicia Grey and The Airship Battle Royale. It is not the main focus of the Gear, but It does happen from time to time. The events are scripted at first, but remember your input changes the script.

This role-play bar, is a light hearted dose of fun. It has its serious moments but the Spirit of the Gear is about comradery, having some drinks, and experiencing everything and anything. The more veteran gear posters will help out the newer Gear Goers with any questions, or ideas.

The gear is designed to help develop your characters if you would like. Feel free to message T.R. Harrison, Arabella Porter, or myself, if you have any questions.

WARNING: HAS BEEN KNOWN TO CAUSE: LAUGHING, GOOD COMPANY, AND ALL AROUND FUN!!!

*brows knitted but the smile remains*  Gator sausage?  Oh, come now ... you're teasing me!

No ma'am , mixed with a bit of pork for the fat content and spiced its right tasty.Wonderful stuff to keep in a ships larder.

Oh, goodness!  I do so love sausage.  Maybe one day I'll have to try that.  I am very adventurous when it comes to food!  Where are you from, if I may ask?

I was born in occupied Alabama but we moved to New Orleans since its an "Open city" Which is to say the Brits might control the harbors but, the Americans control the Mississippi. ( I am from an alt. history where the British Empire retook much of the south after the civil war because neither the North or South was strong enough to mount much of a defense.)

That sounds like an exciting, yet turbulent place to be.  But ... I hear that New Orleans is a wonderful place for the adventurous and lover of diverse cultures.

It is indeed , and being raised around local culture gives ya a healthy respect for spiritual matters. After my parents died I was raised by an elderly Voo doo Houngan ( priest) he took me in and taught me how to handle most kinds of bad in the world. Course to be fair his daughter and me being sweet on each other as kids did make things "interesting" sometimes

And did you and your sweetheart remain together?  I do so love a good romance!

Lets just say social pressure and life events made it impossible...at least for now. But I do know she is happy, I doubt she knows it but I always have someone watching out for her ...*a touch of sadness enters his voice* and her family.

*without thinking, touching his hand gently*  I feel for you.  It's telling of your feelings to know that you have someone watching out for them.  I'm almost envious.

Well, I cant say as I'm exactly happy as to who she married but, he is an honest man, loves her an a good father and provider, everything I guess I'm not quite right for right now....maybe one day.  Besides I had a talk with him on their wedding day  He will NEVER hurt her *An evil grin crosses his face and for a split second ya might have thought ya saw upper and lower fangs*

*smiles softly at the captain ... green eyes twinkling as she notices the hint of a fang*  Well...I hope the "talk" you had with him keeps him in line.  And I hope the lady knows what she missed out on in you, sir.

I broke a death bed promise to her father , even for a good cause that is a serious thing and I think she wanted us to just run away, but I couldn't and well ...there it is.  As to the "talk" nothing earth shattering just the standard "you hurt her I eat your liver while you're still alive" speech nothing too over the top. *waves a hand dismissively "
