      I had issues with a few teachers, as well, but my negative experiences were with math and sciences.  Rather than being encouraged, I was told flat out that it would be a waste of time to explain certain things to me because I would not understand, anyway.

      Hopefully, there is a hell for teachers like these, where their heads are clamped into vise-like iron dunce caps, while little imps dance around them shooting sticky flaming spitballs.   Ha ha!
