Self lined means at it is lined with the same fabric. It is not lined with a different fabric.
I am a professional seamstress and a costume designer. I travel around looking for amazing fabrics and sometimes people give them to me. This one was a gift from an amazing woman.

You are quite welcomed.  Wow, that is a LOT of lovely fabric.  Self lined?  I do not understand?  Did you acquire the fabric like that?

Thank you so much. Between the coat and the skirt it took just under 20 yards of fabric. It is self lined.

May I ask, how many yards of fabric did it take for it's creation?
