Creating my Alter-Ego

I've been looking up articles about Steampunk, specifically, costumes. It seems like many who dress up also create a fictional character and back story to compliment their attire. With that being said, I think I have a working idea for my own character.

I think I will introduce myself as " Doctor Cornelius Emmett Fuzzey ". I would be a scientist / inventor who flies in my own time-traveling airship. Not sure what the end result of my costume will look like, but blinky lights and a jet pack may be part of the end result.

i usually get lucky finding one cool item like a hat then build the rest of the outfit from that.

my "steampunk persona" is pretty much just me minus a century.
