For the 6th year in a row, I am going to shave my head in order to raise money for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. As always, once my team’s goal reaches $1000. I will dye my hair green, and the winning team where I work will get to dictate what color I spray color my beard on the day of the event.
The event is once more going to be sponsored by Larkin’s On the River in the Wyche Pavilion in Downtown Greenville South Carolina. Last year this event raised over $79,500 to help find the cure for childhood cancer, $2,607 of which was raised by a combination of the the team where I work and my various friends here on Internet.
For those of you who may not know, the St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. By donating you’ll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
