                         ********IMPORTANT********

There is an underlying story and/or parts there of, that is followed from the Airship Alicia Grey and The Airship Battle Royale. It is not the main focus of the Gear, but It does happen from time to time. The events are scripted at first, but remember your input changes the script.

This role-play bar, is a light hearted dose of fun. It has its serious moments but the Spirit of the Gear is about comradery, having some drinks, and experiencing everything and anything. The more veteran gear posters will help out the newer Gear Goers with any questions, or ideas.

The gear is designed to help develop your characters if you would like. Feel free to message T.R. Harrison, Arabella Porter, or myself, if you have any questions.

WARNING: HAS BEEN KNOWN TO CAUSE: LAUGHING, GOOD COMPANY, AND ALL AROUND FUN!!!

She shakes her head. "He was home briefly about a week ago...came home and then ran off...talking about a commander Valerius or something.." she pouts. "I got one kiss and then he was off again!"

Wil smiles and pats her hand before looking at Val. "Val, there is not one of us here that could keep her any safer than Felix. In fact the lot of us may not be as equal to the task. There is a reason that this place has become the resting place for men and women whose bounties include government backing."

Wil stands and walks to the bar. Pouring himself a glass of scotch he walks back to his table near the fire place than turn and raises his glass.

"I toast to Felix. The one true master of this wonderous establishment. A braver, more resilient man has never walked this earth and may he find his way home soon. May what ever god he follows, if any at all, bless his path so that he can return to us and guide this bar to the success it will know only through him." Downing his drink in a single gulp he turns and throws the glass hard into the fireplace, shattering it.

Brielle smiles weakly and raises her wine glass. "Truer words were never spoken...I can only wish for his safe return and that the damaged bits and pieces of his body and soul that I have to put back together won't be too ragged..." She tips her wine glass up and drains it, before following Wil's lead and smashing her glass into the fireplace.

*smiles and raises his wine* I may be an angel, but I won't ruin the moment by being logical.  Considering I'm still recovering *laughs and levitates his glass into the fireplace*

Wil smiles and nods to her. He slowly takes his seat and looks around the bar before turning to Brielle again. "This place has seen better days though. The fights and accidents in here have left it looking pretty rough. Would he be upset you think if I had it refinished a bit and sealed up."

She finds great humor in this. "I think he would be surprised....and it would certainly be a better welcome home than this current rabble..."

She shakes her head as she gets up and motions to Simon for another glass of wine. "On second thought Simon, mix me up something stronger! Very fruity please."  He mixes her drink as she turns to Wil and Valarian. "I think its a fine idea, Wil. Even if he doesn't like it at first I am sure he will grow sure to love it." She pauses, her face taking on a sullen cast.

"Granted..usually when he comes home from adventures like these he doesn't even notice what is going on around him because he is so drawn inward by his personal demons.."

*Val closes his eyes, and the remaining shards in the fireplace form together into a small dagger on the floor.  He picks it up and hands it to Bri* here.  For Felix, or yourself.  It's glass, so harder to detect.  In heaven, it's considered an honor to carry one *smiles and hands her the rough blade*

She smiles at Val.
"Thank you dear. I shall use it to keep myself safe until my love gets home..." Simon hops down behind her, tapping her shoulder and handing her the drink. She sips it and sighs. "I just wish I knew when...or where...or why...he holds everything back until he is ready to open up, and not a minute sooner!"

*laughs* I'm afraid i can't help you there.  I'm no expert on people, unfortunately.  Perhaps for your safety?  Or so you don't worry as much?

"Its when he is quiet that I am worried. It means he is struggling with something but is too stubborn to let someone in and help him..."

I see.  The one thing I will say is that sometimes you need the metaphorical lock pick, but some times you need the crowbar *smiles and sips his wine*

"With him it is always an act of stealth and ingenuity to get him to open up without even realizing it. Its the only way he can start to heal...otherwise all the years of mental trauma start adding up and he just turns further inward." She shakes her head. "It is quite the undertaking, unraveling Felix J. Bellicose...Arabella once described him as "a barbed wire wrapped around a double helix," if that gives you any clue...
