There is an underlying story and/or parts there of, that is followed from the Airship Alicia Grey and The Airship Battle Royale. It is not the main focus of the Gear, but It does happen from time to time. The events are scripted at first, but remember your input changes the script. 

This role-play bar, is a light hearted dose of fun. It has its serious moments but the Spirit of the Gear is about comradery, having some drinks, and experiencing everything and anything. The more veteran gear posters will help out the newer Gear Goers with any questions, or ideas.

Oh,not bad been in Europe for a spell sorting out some unpleasant business but, I'm happy to say alls well ,...well as far as I know it is anyway. And you my dear Sil, longer hair than I remember . (He does notice you eyeing him , sizing him up)( Its how he survives)

yeah I've been on the ship a while..I'm about to fix that*pulls all her red hair into a high ponytail cutting it off short working a bit with it until she looked like a proper pirate with short hair*

[Marshal Sir Jon Marshall]

*Sir Jon walks into the Gear with a jaunty step and a wide grin twirling his cane. Two burly Turkish porters carrying a large crate behind him.* "Ahoy hoy, comrades! It's been a long time, but my journey to the east has been quite a smashing success, so I thought I'd share the wealth." He talks to the turbaned Turkmen* "Beylerbara O sandığı getirin lütfen". *The two men place the crate on the bar and open it with a crowbar revealing a large wooden cask.* "Beyler ederiz! Sen ilişiği kesilir". *He hands them each a few pounds and they depart. 

[Captain Lachlan Bellraven]

*Eyeing the cask suspiciously*  That wouldnt be alcohol by any chance? You know I normally would never indulge but in this case hmm, I could be tempted. *begins to snicker and then outright laughter* Sorry couldn't say that with a straight face.

[Captain Silver SteamAether]

*looks at Sir Jon and flips the knife so she's holding the blade before handing it back to Dusten* Hello my friend. *walks over dusting off the extra hair she'd cut off*

"A gift for the house and for all who take respite here. The finest Raki in the world with a few German and Afgani herbs added for a boost. Care to uncork it Lady Brielle?"

*sighs wistfully* Sure wish alcohol still affected me unless it's aspirated in the form of vapor like that time i blew up the dirigible full of absinthe... remember that Lach* looks at him and giggles*
