                         ********IMPORTANT********

There is an underlying story and/or parts there of, that is followed from the Airship Alicia Grey and The Airship Battle Royale. It is not the main focus of the Gear, but It does happen from time to time. The events are scripted at first, but remember your input changes the script.

This role-play bar, is a light hearted dose of fun. It has its serious moments but the Spirit of the Gear is about comradery, having some drinks, and experiencing everything and anything. The more veteran gear posters will help out the newer Gear Goers with any questions, or ideas.

The gear is designed to help develop your characters if you would like. Feel free to message T.R. Harrison, Arabella Porter, or myself, if you have any questions.

WARNING: HAS BEEN KNOWN TO CAUSE: LAUGHING, GOOD COMPANY, AND ALL AROUND FUN!!!

She bites her lip, then shakes her head, muttering, "Dear god I hope not..." Then she tunes back in to what Wil was saying.

"I daresay I might have fainted had I witnessed that....but you know I am rather young and impressionable. Why do you think you are separating from the world in such a way?"

He smiles at her and grips the pipe between his teeth. "My dear my age is quite advanced and each day that goes by I realize that while I my body feels the urges and strength of a young man, my mind feels the weight of age and time bearing down on it. The act of that young couple last night for instance. My body enjoyed the sights and sounds but my mind found it little more than a mild amusement at the impropriety of the young."

Being very young herself, she doesn't fully grasp what he is saying. "Not all young embrace impropriety...myself for instance....although one could say that was stamped into me quite unnaturally." She smiles and shakes her head. "Poor Felix has his work cut out for him there. Although occasionally he does catch me off guard..." She blushes and smiles into her drink. "How does one's body end up on a different page to one's mind?" She looks genuinely curious.

He smiles and sets his pipe down. "That is thanks to an accident while studying my field in my youth. I had just got into using alchemy to enhance the human form to it's greatest potential. During my experiments I stumbled across a formula that has my body aging much slower. Right now it's about thirty years old. But the formula did not change my mind. I know how long I have been alive. I know how the morals and the world have changed over these seventy years. I see things now that, in my youth would have been appalling to even admit such acts occurred none the less see them in the streets."

He grins and leans back in his chair. "My body and my mind are two separate ages. I have the mind and memories of a seventy year old man with the body of a thirty year old."

She tilts her head and ponders. "That is quite a strange thing. You are saying that even though your body may be young and healthy you grow quite weary of some of the things going on in the world?"

He nods and smiles. "Exactly. I am tired my young friend. I have seen much. But still my work continues. I will not give up till the work is finished but I am still quite tired."

She pats his arm. "Well I hope your work takes a while to finish so you do not see fit to leave us all prematurely. Young or not...you have some friends here who enjoy your company very much!" She yawns sleepily. "Now...I'm off to go see if Felix is still working himself to death and drag him off to go to sleep....he never gets enough rest..." She stretches as she stands up and sways off towards the bedroom.

He smiles and chuckles as he stands. "Good night my friend. Sleep well."

Grabbing up his pipe he pulls his coat on before heading out into the snow and back to his home.

Wil strides into the bar, his cane taking his weight with ease. Unwrapping the scarf from around his lower face and neck. His top hat coming off and tapping the snow off. He sets both on a peg in the wall before taking off his frock coat and hanging that below them with his gloves in the pockets.

Making his way to his chair he pulls it a bit closer to the fire and settles in to let it warm him.

Brielle bursts in from outside, snow dusting her dark hair and eyelashes. Shivering, she pulls a chair over to the fire. "Wil! What a pleasant surprise!"

He laughs and nods. "I needed some time out of the lab. Shankar is one of his little fits of cleaning which means I may be in the same outfit for several days unless he deigns to tell me where he put my clothes this time."

He leans back in the chair and motions for Simon to bring a bottle, using another gesture he makes sure it's a bottle of sweet red wine.

She goes over to the bar and prepares some hot cocoa. "Does he do that often? And couldn't you just ask him where he put your clothes?" She giggles. "Seems to me that if he is in a cleaning fit it is rather counterproductive to have you wandering about in dirty clothing.."
