                         ********IMPORTANT********

There is an underlying story and/or parts there of, that is followed from the Airship Alicia Grey and The Airship Battle Royale. It is not the main focus of the Gear, but It does happen from time to time. The events are scripted at first, but remember your input changes the script.

This role-play bar, is a light hearted dose of fun. It has its serious moments but the Spirit of the Gear is about comradery, having some drinks, and experiencing everything and anything. The more veteran gear posters will help out the newer Gear Goers with any questions, or ideas.

The gear is designed to help develop your characters if you would like. Feel free to message T.R. Harrison, Arabella Porter, or myself, if you have any questions.

"Maybe," Steel replied, he nods a little, "a truth is formed by the perception of those who are there to witness the truth."

*charming giggle*  Well ... I choose to be the witness to the fact that you are quite a nice person, Steel.  Feel free to sit with me anytime you wish.

"Thank you," Steel said as he nodded, "your friendship is, valued."

It is yours, sir.  *smile*

Wil shrugs and takes another sip. "I only know the laws because a distant cousin of mine opened a distillery about a decade or two ago. I took an interest and has kept me up to date on the laws of such."

He smiles at Abigail and takes a puff of the pipe. "So tell me of your own interests. You must have some I'm sure?"

*turns her eyes toward Wil and smiling as she takes another sip of her tea*  Well, as you can see from my disheveled appearance ... I adore, how should I say it ... exploration?  *reaching up and smoothing her ponytail and making certain the smudge of dirt is gone from her cheek.*  I was in the attics at Preston Manor trying to search for anything to guide me toward any memories of the past year or year and a half.  *shrugging*  Nothing.

I am sorry to hear that you have found no clues as to the past year and a half. Might I ask what caused you to loose your memories though good lady?" Wil asks gently as he puffs at his pipe, closing the lid of his jar.

*shrugs again*  I wish I knew.  The Prestons  have spent quite a lot of money to try and help me recover ... but the doctors continue to say that nothing is ... how to they put it ... neurologically wrong with me.  I am healthy and ... other than moments of intense melancholy ... I am relatively happy.  The Prestons dislike that I am "out and about risking virtue and physical harm", but they want me to be happy.

Well if you ever desire to put out feelers to a less" he grins and winks "refined world please feel free to ask. It may be difficult though as I'm sure there may be a few others who would see any likeness of you and may believe you to be Annabelle as I did as well."

He puffs at his pipe for a moment before he continues. "You can be sure that if you'd like my help though you will have it without fail. The idea that a lovely young lady needs help is something I seem unable to resist." He grins again. "At the very least you can be sure that I will do my best to help in any way you so wish good Lady. If need be you can assure the Prestons that your virtue is quite safe as long as you are with us here at the Gear."

*smile turning almost shy*  Thank you, Wil.  I believe I truly would appreciate any help that could be given.  It's not that I feel a void in my life, so to speak.  It's just that it seems a part of me is missing.  Does that make sense?  *a coquettish grin comes.*  The Prestons are very "old school" when it comes to virtue.  They will appreciate knowing I am in good hands.

Wil chuckles and nods. "I understand old school quite well and you can be sure that I would never impinge your virtue in any my dear Lady."

He smiles at her grin and can't help but remember a similar one that he has not seen in a long time. "I understand a part of you being missing. It's that feeling like there is more to you than you know. You just can't be sure what it is. I have felt that feeling several times in my life."

Exactly!  I could not have said it better, myself!  And I believe that you are a man to be held in the highest regard!
