********IMPORTANT********
There is an underlying story and/or parts there of, that is followed from the Airship Alicia Grey and The Airship Battle Royale. It is not the main focus of the Gear, but It does happen from time to time. The events are scripted at first, but remember your input changes the script.
This role-play bar, is a light hearted dose of fun. It has its serious moments but the Spirit of the Gear is about comradery, having some drinks, and experiencing everything and anything. The more veteran gear posters will help out the newer Gear Goers with any questions, or ideas.
The gear is designed to help develop your characters if you would like. Feel free to message T.R. Harrison, Arabella Porter, or myself, if you have any questions.
WARNING: HAS BEEN KNOWN TO CAUSE: LAUGHING, GOOD COMPANY, AND ALL AROUND FUN!!!

Casey July comes through the door with her arms full of brown paper sacks and square boxes tied with twine. She dumps them onto the table then slips her boots off and throws them into the corner. She shuffles off her leather back pack and stands looking defeated for a moment,
"Arabella, my lovely dear....a drink? Please?"
*she stands baffled, her eyes have a sort of confusion in them as she is unsure if she is more terrified or awestruck. She fills her drink up but then looks at it. Should she even be around this intense man on alcohol? What if something goes wrong. She thought about the look on Meiling's face, how she might have acted around him. Meiling, as unafraid of anything as she was, would run for the hills. Suddenly, she snaps her attention to Casey kicking her footwear off* hm...oh...oh! right.... *she says, grabbing a bottle of something and something else, but still staring at the hammer. She gulped, thinking of how it could probably crush her in an instant. She slid the rum and coke onto the counter and then grabbed a different glass* Well,.....*She poured Casey a warm beer and placed it next to the rum and coke but when she finally leaned on the bar again* Well....well.....*what do you say to someone like this*
"Arabella, dear.... are you OK? I know it had been awhile, but I didn't think I looked THAT good."
Casey flits her long blonde hair a moment then gently touched Arabella's hand....
Grim laughed and spun the hammer around his hand like a trickster with a coin before slapping the handle over his left shoulder. As soon as it's near his back several loud clicks can be heard though no visible connectors are there.
Moving back to the stool he settles back on it and gives a little wave to Casey. "Evening miss. Name is Grim. How's about you?"
*Arabella shot him a strange look and nodded slowly before snapping out of it* I'm fine! I'm just...well...admiring this gentleman's fine weapon really. *she smiles and then looks back to Grim* So, you worked for Lije North. I haven't spoken with him much except when he was whispering in Meiling's ear about making my more recent captain into target practice.
Grim laughs again, rumbling like a drum. "Gentleman?! First I've been called that since I landed on the deck of my first ship. As for North, I only worked for him for a couple of months. Spent most of that either on his ships making the traps he wanted or being launched like a damned cannonball at another ship."
Casey squints in the light, then downs her coke and rum.... then she leans toward Arabella in a protective gesture.
"Grim.... with a big hammer?" She turns to Arabella and whispers, "Do you know him dear?"
I get the same deal with being called a lady. I'm not a lady but people make their mistakes, although sometimes those mistakes can be lethal.*leans into her as well* I think he mentioned knowing Wil when he first walked in. Either way, he left his hammer outside, I asked him to bring it in so he could show off. Don't worry. *smiles and then turns her attention back to the man* like a cannonball? You must have been quite an effective weapon.
Grim chuckled and nodded. "Being launched from a makeshift catapult is not as fun as it may sound. I was effective simply due to pure mass. Though having Hjalmfluga to hit with first didn't hurt!"
He gives a grin and holds up the empty mixing glass. "More whiskey?" Chuckling he shakes his head. "This place is going to leave me broke even with that check from Heizeltroff in the damned bank!"
*winks at Casey* So how did you and Wil meet? *she asks, pouring the whiskey*
"Yes, I met Wilhelm." Casey looks over at Grim, "Can't decide which one of these guys is better looking..."
Casey walks over the Grim and stands in front of him. He towers over her.... and she likes it.
"But, I need to start getting Brielle's surprise in order for the Christmas party." She turn back to Arabella.
Grim takes the whiskey and happily takes a deep drink of it. "He actually found me about ten years ago. Not sure how but he needed someone to take out a ship that was going to be leaving from Paris. I got the job. Been doing odd jobs for him off and on since. Most only take a few weeks but this next one is a big job. Going to take me a few months total since I have to travel to Hong Kong. Hence why part of the payment is a ship."
